The Foundation Art course is an introduction to art and design. This is where we give the student a variety of experiences in art mediums and techniques. The emphasis is placed on developing the student's artistic skills and vocabulary. This course is aimed at teaching students how to evaluate and appreciate their own work and the work of others. The student becomes aware of how art reflects culture and how art decisions affect the quality of life. This course fulfills 1.0 of the Fine/Practical Arts graduation requirement.
