At East Grand Rapids HIgh School, we carry on the tradition of excellence in every discipline. From the classroom to the field to the arena; we strive to do our very best and exceed expectations in every challenge.. The EGRHS Art Department is no different. We do our best to cultivate the artist in each individual. It is our goal to create a safe and engaging environment that is challenging to all levels of ability. Our intent is to help each student realize their potential- and through hard work, dedication and descipline- go beyond.
2019-20 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.
The EGRHS Art Department is proud to have had so many of our artists and designers recognized and awarded honors during past 20 years of participation in the Scholastic exhibitions. The Exhibition for the 2019-20 competition is Dec. 20, so make sure to put the finishing details on your work so it is ready to go before the Holiday Break begins. Best of luck to all who choose to participate this year!
The Exhibition is on display from Feb. 11-29. Awards ceremony Sat. Feb. 29 3pm. @ Fountain Street Church.
